DealerRefresh has declared August 14th as National Car Salesmen Training Day. In observance of this monumental event, we are asking ALL car dealers to assign their sales people split shifts in order for this day of national training.

HA! But seriously..’The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard‘ is set to release on August 14th and I’m dieing to see it. Though I have a funny feeling this movie might not shine the most positive light on our dealer industry and it’s people but I know it’s going to be damn funny!

Who is Don Ready? Salesman? Lover? Song Stylist? Semi-professional dolphin trainer? Ready is all of the above, except for a dolphin trainer. When he’s asked to help save an ailing local car dealership from bankruptcy, Ready and his ragtag crew descend on the town of Temecula like a pack of coyotes on a basket full of burgers. Selling, drinking, selling and going to strip clubs is their stock and trade. And they do it well.

Who’s onboard?

OK, boys and girls it's time to salesman the f*ck up, Don Ready and his crew are coming to town tomorrow to show us how it's done.

I am so going to see this movie. Who wants to join me?

Hey Mitch, I've already adopted that as my new motto, the movie looks hilarious. You guys really need to check out the clip with the female salesperson, it's hilarious http://www.facebook.com/livehardsellhard?ref=ts#/l...

After seeing this movie I can see half of our sales staff changing their Facebook status to "I have hair on my balls and I sell cars - THE END!"

Definitely Jeff! There is a big group of us going - I'm taking my entire staff and it should be a good time when the movie is over.

@Alex, I should fly down to VA Beach that day!!

This trailer explains all the questions about how the "Blue Genie" character was developed on the King of Cars - exploding dye pack in the bank money bag!

That movie looks great! I love Jeremy Piven's character Ari on Entourage, even better as a Auto Sales Trainer!
