Watch your dealerhip video in HD on YouTube

YouTube has finally added the option of viewing video in HD. It was less than a few weeks ago they added the size change to the player, so it was only obvious that YouTube was gearing up for HD.

The new HD Format looking really good. I’m not sure if it surpasses some of the other video services that are providing HD like Vimeo and Motionbox . I will have to take some to do some testing.

Now you can buy the Flip Video MinoHD Camcorder and record your dealership videos in HD, upload them to YouTube and voila! Inventory walkarounds in HD.

Side Note: Has anyone messed around the YouTube Quick Capture feature? Could be a simple way of recordning customer greeting email on the fly.

Interesting note. Are you aware of many dealers actually doing the video walk-arounds? And is it better to use the Flip or simply subscribe to a service like one offered by SisTer Technologies (sp?)?

Over the last week Youtube has changed alot, added tweaks, new features, HD video is just one of the cool add-ons. Google has been adding some new things too for search... maybe something really cool is brewing??

Yes the quick capture is good for email vids!

Any dealershop shooting their own videos should look into one of these Flips.

I started about a month ago im upto 50 of my cars with videos. i have also been carring my flip camera around and asking custemers if they would say something nice about us. no one has turned me, because i just start shooting! Check my owner:
